Before I tell you about this gorgeous industrial wedding at the St. Vrain in Longmont, Colorado, I need to tell you how Aubrey and Derek's love story began.
These two form one of those lucky couples, whose romance started with true, genuine friendship. No. Really. They actually thought that they were destined to be just friends (Perhaps Derek suffered from some kind of vision problem). Kidding aside, this gorgeous duo used to hang out with one another as pals. They even tested out date and recipe ideas on one another in preparation for "the one." Little did they know, that one was already sitting across the table (cue collective "awwwww").
Those date night ideas must have been good ones and I'm guessing the recipes weren't too bad either. Because, lo and behold, dinner wasn't the only thing cooking between these two. They decided to give dating a try and, as you can see, their friendship turned to romance, which turned to love and now commitment. As with all good marriages, I'm sure the foundation of friendship that these two built will serve them well in their lives together.
Much like their love story, Aubrey and Derek's wedding was beautiful, colorful (peep those blooms by Project Floral!) and full of love. The St. Vrain, a gorgeous wedding venue in Northern Colorado, hosted the event. Aubrey and Derek enjoyed the best of both mountain and industrial glamour, as this venue offers the best of both worlds.
Brindle + Oak planned this event (which ran flawlessly). Their signature attention to detail and flair made this spectacular wedding a truly memorable and polished event.
Aubrey and Derek, I so enjoyed celebrating this day with you and watching the next chapter of your relationship begin. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this special day and for trusting me with your memories. It was truly an honor.
